Welcome! We’re glad to have you. For those meeting you for the first time, give us a little background and tell us where you help buyers and sellers.
Thank you! I started out as a mental health therapist and during Covid I decide to give real estate a try. I didn't realize I'd fall so in love. I live in Glenview, but as an Illinois native, born and raised, I work with clients through out Chicago and all the surrounding suburbs.
GETTING STARTED & WHY REAL ESTATE MATTERS
Let’s rewind a bit—how did you get started in real estate, and what made you fall in love with this career?
My family has always been in development and property management. I was struggling with doing therapy online during Covid and my brother mentioned how it'd be great to have someone in the family who could handle all the real estate. I figured I could just help them out and end up completing the course in 10 days. I had to go to Springfield to take the test since most testing centers were closed. I passed on the first try and ended up joining a high producing team. It quickly became my full time job. My therapy background really helped me connect with clients and ease people's anxieties.

Let’s talk about your market. What makes your local area such a great place to live, work, or invest in?
Illinois has so much to offer! Every person can find a neighborhood or suburb where they feel like they belong and have other like-minded neighbors. There's something here for everyone! We also have homes with so much charm and character.

Truly, I believe my counseling background really sets me apart. I can help what other's may consider "tough" clients. I step in when couple are going through divorce, when there's a death in the family and for the joyous occasions as well. I can connect and relate with clients and help ease their anxieties and fears.

From first-time buyers to luxury listings, everyone has a focus. What’s yours, and why?
I'm a jack of all trades, I work well with the first time home buyers, the downsizers and because of my family being in luxury development, I am very well versed in luxury designs, finishes and sales as well as new construction.
Let’s go a little deeper. What’s something you do behind the scenes that clients may not realize but really makes a difference?
Behind the scenes, there are hours of conversations that go unnoticed. Whether it be with the client, with the other agent to see what is needed to get to a smooth closing or with attorneys and lenders, no ego, just making sure everything is smooth behind the scenes to make sure my client doesn't have to stress.
EXPERTISE
What trends are you seeing in your market, and how should clients prepare for the future?
If you're a seller, don't miss the spring market! That is the best time to sell, so be ready for that. If you're a buyer, buy between August and December to get the best deals and not have to compete with a lot of other buyers.
