Hi! Thanks for having me! My name is Shantoria Lowe, and I'm 38 years old. I am an emerging Realtor with Future Home Realty in Florida. Currently, I serve residential and commercial clients across the entire state, focusing primarily on major cities such as my hometown, Jacksonville (Duuvaaal... Go Jags!!!), as well as Tallahassee, Orlando, Tampa, and Miami. Every great realtor has a story. What inspired you to step into real estate, and why does this work matter to you personally?
Every great realtor has a story, and mine is shaped by personal challenges and triumphs. Well, you see, past choices in my life placed me at a disadvantage when it came to securing a stable home for my children and me. Those experiences lit a fire in me to turn things around and get my life in order.
I realized that many people face similar struggles, often due to a lack of financial literacy and understanding of how to make credit work for them. This realization inspired me to not only educate myself but also to share this knowledge with others. Empowering individuals with the tools for fiscal health became a passion of mine. I imagined what it would be like if I could guide them through the complex home purchasing process, making it a less intimidating experience.
As a single mother, I understood the challenges uniquely faced by women like myself. This drove me to become a realtor with a mission. I wanted to help others, as well as myself, especially single moms, navigate the often daunting world of real estate. This work matters to me deeply because I believe everyone deserves a safe and secure place to call home.
By becoming a realtor, I've been able to assist people in finding homes that aren't just houses, but places where memories are made and dreams are nurtured. Seeing families step into a new chapter of their lives, knowing I played a role in that, is incredibly rewarding. Through my experiences and the lessons I've learned, I'm motivated every day to make the path to homeownership smoother for others.
