Jessica founded Haus of Solace Design Co. with a clear point of view: a beautiful room should do more than look finished. It should feel considered, personal, and easy to live in.
Based in Dallas/Fort Worth, Sweat is building her studio around warm, organic interiors shaped by proportion, natural materials, layered lighting, and thoughtful restraint. Rather than chasing trends or filling a room for the sake of completion, she approaches design by asking what the space needs to feel more cohesive, more functional, and more reflective of the people who use it.
For Jessica, that often means starting with the elements that quietly influence the entire room, the scale of the rug, the height of the drapery, the placement of furniture, the warmth of the lighting, and the relationship between texture and tone.
“Great design doesn’t have to announce itself,” she says. “The goal is for a room to feel right before you can explain why.”
As Haus of Solace Design Co. grows, Sweat is focused on creating thoughtful design concepts for homeowners, investors, and real estate professionals who want spaces that feel elevated without losing warmth or personality.

For Jessica, an elevated room is rarely about spending more. It is about making better decisions.

Scale is one of the first things she considers. A rug that is too small can make furniture feel disconnected. Drapery hung too low can visually shorten a room. Furniture that is poorly proportioned can make even beautiful pieces feel temporary or out of place.

Lighting is equally important. Rather than relying on a single overhead fixture, Sweat favors layers of ambient, task, and accent lighting to create warmth and depth throughout the day.

Her aesthetic leans toward natural materials and quiet contrast: walnut, linen, stone, aged brass, warm neutrals, and earthy greens. But the goal is never to simply assemble a palette. It is to create enough repetition and restraint that the room feels cohesive without feeling overly styled.

“The most sophisticated spaces usually aren’t the busiest,” Sweat says. “They feel considered. Every element has a reason for being there.”

For homeowners and property professionals alike, that kind of clarity can make a room feel more polished, more memorable, and ultimately more valuable.
