When people ask me why I started the Real Estate Agent Journal, the answer is actually pretty simple: I believe every community is full of stories worth telling.
What drew me here wasn't just real estate.
It was people.
I've always been fascinated by the stories behind successful businesses, the communities they're built in, and the relationships that make them thrive. The more time I spent talking with Realtors, local business owners, and entrepreneurs, the more I realized something was missing.
There are incredible people doing incredible work in our communities, but so many of their stories never get told.
That's why I started the Real Estate Agent Journal.
Not to create another magazine full of market statistics or listing promotions—but to build a platform where Realtors, local businesses, and community leaders could share their experiences, celebrate one another, and create something meaningful together.
One thing you'll quickly notice is that we're not a traditional publication.
The Real Estate Agent Journal is powered by user-generated content. That means the people who know their communities best are the ones helping tell their stories. Instead of relying on a newsroom to create every article, we provide a platform where authentic voices take center stage.
I think that's what makes this publication different.
It's not just about publishing content.
It's about building community.
Every interview, every feature, and every local story has the potential to introduce someone to a new business, inspire a new relationship, or remind us why we love the places we call home.
As Editor-in-Chief, I spend a lot of time speaking with agents from across the country. No matter where they're located, I hear many of the same things. They want to stand out. They want to build trust. They want to become known for more than just selling homes.
I believe that happens when you stop asking, "How can I market myself?" and start asking, "How can I create value for my community?"
That's the philosophy behind everything we do here.
My hope is that when you visit the Real Estate Agent Journal, you don't just leave with market insights, you leave feeling a little more connected to the people, businesses, and communities that make this industry so special.
Thanks for being here.
I'm excited to see where we build this together.
